In order to speed up the construction of Lianyungang Refinery and Chemical Integration Project, the Jiangsu Provincial Government has recently established the Lianyungang Refinery and Chemical Integration Project Promotion Coordination Group. Li Yunfeng, member of the Standing Committee of the Provincial Party Committee and executive vice governor, served as the team leader, Xu Li, deputy secretary general of the provincial government, and Chen Zhenning, director of the Provincial Development and Reform Commission, served as deputy team leaders. The Lianyungang refining and chemical integration project was invested and constructed by Sinopec with a total investment of 19.3 billion yuan. After the project is completed, it can meet the needs of the refined oil market in Jiangsu Province and surrounding areas, and it is conducive to giving full play to the comprehensive advantages of Lianyungang's ports and locations, optimizing the industrial layout and promoting the adjustment of industrial structure.
